The Spirax-Sarco 70879 25 Series Main Valve P Pilot Kit replaces the pressure pilot on a Spirax-Sarco 25 Series Main Valve. This pilot is a tiny, independent valve that senses the pressure in the system to regulate the main valve's pressure. The pilot valve opens to let pressure flow to the main valve and cause it to open when the system pressure falls below a predetermined value. On the other hand, the pilot valve closes to limit pressure to the main valve and closes it when the system pressure reaches a certain amount.
