The RBI Boiler 70-9019 Natural Gas Spark Rod is an ignition component that initiates the combustion process by producing the electrical spark required to ignite natural gas at the burner. During a scream for heat the electrode generates a high-voltage spark that lights the gas-air mixture, allowing the burner to establish a stable flame for continued firing in HVAC systems. The igniter rod is positioned within the burner or pilot assembly adjacent to the gas outlet to create proper ignition. Accurate spark generation supports dependable burner startup, supports stable flame establishment, and maintains uninterrupted boiler operation throughout the heating cycle.
