The Nordyne 664434 23" Soft Drain Tube is a flexible condensate line that routes liquid water produced during combustion or cooling away from the heat exchanger or evaporator coil toward the drain outlet. Its pliable body bends around internal cabinet geometry without kinking, following non-linear paths between the drain pan fitting and discharge point. Within high-efficiency condensing furnaces, air handlers, and cooling coil assemblies across HVAC systems, it connects at barbed or hose-clamp fittings and carries continuous condensate flow. A hardened tube at this location allows moisture to pool inside the cabinet, producing pressure switch faults.
