Spirax-Sarco 64162 B1H-125 Line Horizontal 3/4" Bucket Trap 125PSI

The Spirax-Sarco 64162 is a B1H-3/4" Steam Trap used in steam systems with pressure not exceeding 125 PSI. This design has a horizontal inline flow, which implies that the steam flow is from one end while the condensate comes out from the other end. When the bucket is loaded with condensate, it becomes heavier and drops to another level to open a valve through which condensate is released. When steam arrives at the bucket, it lifts the bucket and in turn shuts the valve and halts condensate flow. This cycle makes it possible to drain condensate from steam lines with no use of steam all the time.
