The Weil McLain 640-000-036 Temperature Sensor Kit-S DHW Probe Wall Mount-C is a temperature monitoring assembly designed to measure domestic hot water conditions within heating equipment. A probe-type sensor is used to detect water temperature and sends resistance-based signals by the sensor lead to the system control circuit of HVAC systems. The wall-mount probe system enable the sensing element to check the temperature of water in the domestic hot water pathway that leads to the boiler. The kit also contains the probe and mounting interface that is attached to the control board, which gives constant temperature feedback needed to control the operation of water heating.
