Nordyne 622715 ECM Motor

The Nordyne 622715 ECM Motor is a high efficiency motor designed for heating and cooling systems especially in furnaces and air handlers. This motor uses Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM) technology whereby the rotor is a permanent magnet and the commutation is done electronically to enhance performance and fuel efficiency. The ECM motor works through varying the speed depending on the heating or cooling needed thus making it more efficient as compared to other motors. It provides constant flow of air and lesser noise production because it can change its speed gradually and not in a constant manner.
