Supco SHP610420 High Pressure Switch 610 Open PSI (CUT-OUT) 420 Close PSI (CUT-IN)

The Supco SHP610420 High Pressure Switch is a control component to measure refrigerant pressure in the air conditioning and heat pump lines in HVAC systems. It is placed on the high-side refrigerant line and opens the control circuit when the pressure exceeds 610 PSI to prevent overloading of the compressor and other components and closes when the conditions return to normal at 420 PSI. This switch in these applications is used to avoid insecure high-pressure conditions.
