Rheem-Ruud 61-106238-12 Thermal Expansion Valve(TxV)

The Rheem-Ruud 61-106238-12 Thermal Expansion Valve is an HVAC device used to control refrigerant flow to enhance performance and efficiency in systems. This valve is suitable for air conditioning systems which use R-22 refrigerant. The valve has a capillary length of 30” and an equalizer length of 7-1/4” which makes it easy to control the refrigerant flow. The one that we are going to use has a 3/8” by 3/8” size which will easily connect to regular HVAC parts. The external equalizer connection is a 1/8” sweat O. D., this ensures that the connection is secure. This valve controls the flow of refrigerant thus ensuring that the correct temperature and pressure exist within the system.
