Carrier 320074-702 5kW Heat Strip

The Carrier 320074-702 is a 5 kW Heat Strip used in electric heating systems and heat pumps to add more heat. A heat strip is a resistance type of heating element, similar to an element in a toaster oven. It is used in well-suited electric heating systems and heat pumps as additional heating devices. This is especially so during the winter when the heat pump is unable to provide for desired temperatures. It works with both 50 and 60 Hz electrical systems, and uses single-phase 208-230 VAC, and meets all requirements of Prop 65 for safe usage.
