Nidec-US Motors U5P2D 5Hp,1760Rpm,Tefc,184T,Tri/3Ph
The Nidec-US Motors U5P2D is a 5 horsepower, 1760 RPM, three-phase electric motor designed for industrial and commercial applications. It is appropriate for dusty or dirty situations because it has a Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC) architecture, in which the motor housing encloses the internal components and has a fan to disperse heat. Furthermore, the motor's "184T" designation denotes a particular frame size and mounting arrangement. Three alternating current (AC) phases are used in the operation of this three-phase motor to create a revolving magnetic field. The motor's rotor rotates as a result of interaction between this spinning field and it, producing torque for a range of uses. The motor's synchronous speed, or revolutions per minute, is specified by the 1760 RPM rating; in perfect circumstances, with no load, the shaft will rotate at this speed.
