Browning 4L590 59" Belt

The Browning 4L590 V-Belt transmits rotational power from the motor sheave to the blower or fan sheave within HVAC systems air handlers, furnaces, and rooftop units, spanning a 59-inch outside length with a 1/2-inch top width and 5/16-inch depth across a 4L fractional-horsepower cross-section. It's wrapped in neoprene construction with polyester tensile cords that seat into the grooved sheave profile, generating the wedging friction that transfers torque without a direct mechanical connection between the two shafts. The belt mounts by positioning it across both sheaves and adjusting the motor-rail tension until the correct deflection is achieved.
