The Carrier EA36UC050 Thermal Expansion Valve that is used in HVAC systems with a 5-ton capacity. Known also as a metering device, a TXV is a essential of the system because it helps control the flow of the refrigerant. The TXV controls the temperature of the evaporator coil and thus operates efficiently. When the temperature of the evaporator coil reduces, the TXV opens to let more of the refrigerant flow and take the heat. It has outlet connections and thus can be used with different refrigerants, R-410A being the most popular one.
