The Resideo 50034043-001 TrueSTEAM Tank Sediment Screen is a filtration component used to avoid debris entry into the steam generation chamber in HVAC systems. It operates by trapping mineral particles and sediment with a fine mesh screen when water is pumped into the humidifier tank during operation of the humidifier HVAC systems. The screen will be located at the water entry point within the tank assembly, where it will be in the path of the incoming water before it flows to the heating chamber.
