Resideo 50022893-001 Cover Plate is an exterior plate that is designed to fit certain thermostat models and it offers a finished surface and shields internal parts. It also fits with the mounting points already present on TH1000 and TH2000 series controls and can be wired without making the installation look messy. This is fitted directly on the thermostat housing when assembling or servicing it. It is the exterior visible interface enclosure to these thermostat models, which assists in protecting circuitry against dust and contact and allows the stable control of heating and cooling operations.
