The Field Controls 46487101 6" Automatic Vent Damper Harness is an electrical wiring assembly that is used with the GVD-6 in HVAC systems to provide proper connection between the damper and 24 VAC gas appliance controls. The harness will also have a keyed connector that will mate, eliminating the possibility of improper wiring. It is used in gas-fired boilers and furnaces for the automatic opening and closing of the flue gas venting system to avoid the undesired airflow when the heating part is not in use.
