Trane COM8244 Compressor 460V 3-Phase R22 68,000BTU

The Trane COM8244 Compressor is a powerful one meant for the provision of a large amount of cool air in commercial and industrial structures, using R-22 refrigerant. This Trane compressor is not like the piston type of compressor, instead, it uses a scroll type. In the sealed housing, two helically arranged scrolls function as a pump and compress the refrigerant gas at a moderate rate. This design is equivalent to a powerful 5.67-ton capacity (68,000 BTUH), which can handle heavy cooling loads. Leak-proof brazed stub tubes (discharge size ½”) are used for the circulation of refrigerants.
