Trane COM9704 Scroll Compressor 460V 3-Phase R-410A

Trane COM9704 Scroll Compressor is a robust compressor for a workhorse that optimizes the cooling of medium commercial buildings. This is not a piston compressor as is common with most models from the Trane brand but rather a scroll compressor. Two intertwined scrolls within the enclosed casing work as a reciprocating compressor, squeezing refrigerant gas. This design is equivalent to a 3.5-ton capacity or about 42,000 BTUH, suitable for handling moderate cooling loads. The Trane COM9704 comes with R-410A refrigerant, which is safer for the environment than some of the previous models.
