It is used as a protective coating on metal surfaces to facilitate the reduction of friction, repel moisture and slow corrosion when applied in the maintenance of air handlers, furnaces and packaged HVAC systems. The product is applied to the bearings of the pump motor, linkage and other moving parts of the system upon cleaning and prior to the operation of the system.
