The Sporlan Controls 163725 7.5-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a refrigerant control component used to regulate the amount of flow entering the evaporator during HVAC systems. Having 7/8" x 1" ports and used in R404A connections with 3/8" ODF connections, it is used in heat pump circuits to adjust refrigerant depending on load and operating conditions to keep the pressure and heat exchange within the right range. It is operated with sensors and evaporator parts, according to the system concept of accurate flow regulation and assisting the provision of uniform cooling performance.
