The Lennox 40W53 Ignition Control Replacement Kit is intended to provide safe ignition in gas-fired Lennox heating and cooling equipment, mainly furnaces. In furnace start-up, the ignition control is essentialin controlling the flow of gas and the timing of the spark. An improperly functioning ignition control may result to igniter failure, multiple burners lock out, and in extreme cases system shutdown. Using this kit replaces a faulty control and ensures the furnace is operating correctly again.
