Carrier HT01BD464 Transformer 40Va 460V Primary 24V Secondary

The Carrier HT01BD464 is a transformer made for Carrier HVAC systems. It works by stepping down the incoming high voltage normally at 460V to a safer 24V voltage level. This makes it possible to exercise safe and effective control of various control elements within the HVAC system including thermostats, relies and solenoids among others. These components are delicate and should be supplied with lower voltages of electrical power. This transformer reduces the voltage by stepping down to protect these control elements and to maintain your Carrier HVAC system.
