Daikin-McQuay 4007608 Drain Pan Assembly is a condensate management element that is used to collect and direct moisture that is created in the course of cooling. It operates by sweeping away water which condenses on the evaporator coil and channeling it to the drain outlet where condensate can be safely removed out of the unit during HVAC systems. The assembly is placed below the evaporator coil in which the pan surface is aligned to the coil section and the drain outlet is connected to the drainage line of the system. Regulated gathering and directing of condensate are useful in avoiding water buildup with in the system.
