The Trane MOT3081 Motor is a developmental motor that is used in performing several operations with the HVAC Trane systems. This motor is an AC motor with a power rating of 3 horsepower and can work with a voltage of 230-460V, thus it can be used in any electrical system. In addition, it has a feature of reversible rotation which is not seen in some motors with fixed rotation. The ball bearings provide free movement and the motor is protected by an automatic overload protector. It is protected by an open drip-proof (ODP) enclosure for protection from dripping liquids.
