Trane VAL7244 Thermal Expansion Valve 3/8" X Chatleff 5 Ton 30" Capillary

The Trane VAL7244 is a 5-ton thermostatic expansion valve for HVAC systems. It is essentialbecause it controls the flow of the system’s refrigerant. The TXV uses a temperature-sensing bulb filled with refrigerant. The pressure inside the bulb also rises as the temperature of refrigerant exiting the evaporator coil rises. The valve adjusts amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator, which thus makes it possible to have an ideal cooling, by open or close the valve in response to the variation in the pressure. The Trane is a stainless steel made with a 30" capillary tube and 3/8" Chatleff connection. It is rated to 700 MWP pressure and is suitable for R-22 refrigerant.
