The Rheem-Ruud 61-100141-15 is a thermal expansion valve (TXV) which is significant in HVAC systems and is particularly meant for cooling capacities of 1 ton. The TXV utilizes R-22 refrigerants to manage how refrigerants are circulated in air conditioning systems thus achieving maximum efficiency and performance. It has dimensions of 3/8” x 3/8”, with element cap tubes measuring 30” and tubes measuring 18”. Moreover, the valve comes with an O.D connection that has a 1/8” sweat and a bleeding capacity of 10%.
