The Sporlan Controls 110368 Thermostatic Expansion Valve is a metering component of refrigerant that is used to maintain the flow of liquid into the evaporator in commercial HVAC systems with R404A. It is controlled by a remote sensing bulb, which reacts to the temperature of the evaporator outlet and adjusts the valve opening to keep the heat at a controlled level to allow to manage the distribution of refrigerant at a nominal capacity with 3/8" x 1/2" ODF connections to be brazed in place. It operates in commercial refrigeration units and ensures the same cooling performance under varying load conditions.
