Sporlan Controls 168786 2-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve 5' Capillary 3/8" X 1/2" ODF

The Sporlan Controls 168786 2-ton Thermal Expansion Valve for controlling the flow of refrigerant in air conditioning and refrigeration applications. TXVs regulate the flow of refrigerant using the temperature of the evaporator. This control enhances the operation of the system and cools more while at the same time avoiding the contamination of the liquid refrigerant which is fatal to the compressor. The 168786 has a 5’ capillary tube and 3/8” x 1/2” ODF connections and is therefore ideal for use in both residential and light commercial HVAC applications.
