The VAL9184 is a refrigerant expansion valve that controls the refrigerant flow in 3-ton R410A HVAC systems to accurately match the superheat of split-system residential and commercial air conditioners and heat pump compressors. This does not cause overfilling and there is a stable temperature hence improving the efficiency and the performance of the system. The Trane is 4.5” long with brazed connectors for a safe installation. Its maximum working pressure is 500 PSI.
