Trane VAL8685 Thermal Expansion Valve(TXV) 3/8 x 1/2" R-22 3-Ton

The Trane VAL8685 Thermal Expansion Valve is designed for Trane HVAC systems that utilize R-22 refrigerant and that are configured in 3-ton models. TXVs are critical elements in refrigerant circuits since they control the circulation of refrigerant relative to 2the temperature of the evaporator coil. The functions are by sensing the evaporator temperature and controlling the amount of refrigerant accordingly. The is designed with sturdiness and measures a small 4.8” in length. This has inlet and outlet measurements of 3/8” and 1/2” with a pressure range of 55/51 PSI, high and low respectively.
