Trane VAL2192 Thermal Expansion Valve 3/8X1/2" R-22 1 Ton 30" Capillary

The Trane VAL2192 is a thermal expansion valve designed to work on HVAC R-22 refrigerant-based systems and has a 1-ton capacity. The TXV regulates the refrigerant accurately to provide efficient cooling and to avoid flooding of the evaporator coil which lowers the performance of the system. Refrigerant connections on the Trane VAL2192 are 3/8” for inlet and 1/2” for outlet while the capillary tube measures 30” to detect the temperature of the evaporator coil. TXV responds to temperature changes within the system to ensure proper flow of refrigerant and therefore the pressure and temperature within the evaporator coiled is held at the correct level.
