The Trane VAL7630 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essentialcomponent in your Trane air conditioning system; it has a size of 4.5 inches in length. A refrigerant flow regulating valve that depends on temperature to operate and enhance efficiency. It is in contrast to simple on/off valves, where the TXV has an essentialfunction of efficiency. With the help of a thermal sensor bulb and a long and thin capillary tube, the TXV regulates the amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator coil according to its temperature. This makes sure that the coil is capable of absorbing heat hence no icing up and keeping off system damage. This product is made out of stainless steel; compatible with R-22 refrigerants, and is safe up to 500 PSI pressure.
