Trane VAL4134 Thermal Expansion Valve(TXV) 2Ton 3/8X1/2 500PSI

The Trane VAL4134 is a thermal expansion valve intended for use in HVAC units with a capacity of 2 tons. More precisely, it is a valve, which modulates the flow of a refrigerant in AC and refrigeration systems. The TXV is activated by the prevalent surrounding temperature and helps the AC unit in making the living space comfortably cool. Liquid refrigerant in high pressure comes into the TXV. The TXV opens allowing more flow of refrigerant when it detects a temperature dip in the evaporator coil. This increased flow of refrigerant makes the heat in the nearby air evaporate thus the air becomes cooler. With more heat taken in by the refrigerant, it becomes gas and its pressure rises.
