Trane VAL3826 Thermal Expansion Valve Exteq R22 3/8 X 1/2 Switch

The Trane VAL3826 Thermal Expansion Valve with Exteq technology is one of the components within the larger, air conditioning systems, A smart valve that regulates the amount of refrigerant to the cooling needs based on temperature for jobs. Unlike simple on/off valves, this TXV is involved in the regulation of cooling and especially in large buildings. Through a thermal sensor bulb connected through a capillary tube the TXV modulates the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil with reference to its temperature. This makes sure that the coil is able to get heat correctly without freezing up and causing the system to fail. Constructed from stainless steel for extra layers of protection, it is designed to handle R-22 refrigerant and 52 PSI.
