The Emerson Climate-White Rodgers 36H33-412 is a single-stage slow opening gas valve designed to regulate gas flow in natural gas or Liquid Propane (LP) fueled HVAC equipment. It features a slow opening mechanism for smooth and safe ignition, ideal for furnaces with hot surface, direct spark, intermittent pilot, or proven pilot ignition systems. Made of durable aluminum, this valve can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°F to 175°F. In operation, the valve receives a 24-volt electrical signal which opens the valve, allowing gas to flow to the burner. An internal pressure regulator ensures consistent gas pressure delivery up to its maximum capacity of 300,000 BTU per hour (natural gas). Easy to install with 3/4-inch NPT connections, this valve offers several benefits including convenient quick-connect coil terminals, tamper-resistant screws for safety, and a versatile mounting position for adaptability in various HVAC systems.
