Trane VAL8953 Gas Valve 3/4" NPTI 24VAC Pressure Operation

The Trane VAL8953 Gas Valve system is a major component in controlling gas flow in Trane HVAC systems. The valve is a 3/4" Natural Pipe Thread Inlet valve with a low voltage of 24VAC. The valve will open automatically at a specific level of pressure when gas pressure reaches that amount, and it releases the gas destined for the burner where combustion occurs measured by quantities. Typically the valve itself is about 7.5" long and the valve itself is a compact 3/4 x 3/4" in size for easy integration into the HVAC system.
