The Honeywell V8295A1024 Solenoid Gas Valve is a control component that regulates the flow of gas to the burner to allow proper ignition and shutdown during operation in HVAC systems. Built with a 3/4" connection and a normally closed configuration, it operates on 24V, and is rated for a maximum pressure of 2 PSI. It operates by means of an internal solenoid that opens the gas path when excited and closes it when de-energised. It is threaded into the piping and wired to the control circuit when installed permitting controlled fuel delivery and uniform burner operation.
