The Carrier 349336-762 Inducer Motor Assembly is a draft-inducing part that is employed in gas furnace HVAC systems. It works on pumping the combustion air in the heat exchanger and pumping the exhaust gases out of the furnace in the venting system. In a standard installation, the assembly will be operational in the furnace start-up sequence to set up correct airflow and permit pressure switches to ensure safe operating conditions.
