The Siemens 599-01113 2-Way Globe Valve is a high performance valve, suitable for precise flow control in HVAC systems. This valve has a 3/4" size and a flow coefficient of 6.3 to provide the better fluid regulation. It is made out of brass trim material so that it has lifetime reliability. The valve operates in a temperature range of 35°F to 250°F and is therefore versatile for use in heating and cooling applications. The globe valve used on this system had an equal percentage flow characteristic (the flow rate changes proportionally to the valve position) and thus allowed more accurate control over a wide range of flow rates.
