Rheem-Ruud AP12993C Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve 200,000 BTU 150 PSI 3/4" NPT

The Rheem-Ruud AP12993C Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve can be described as an indispensable safety device designed for the installations of heating systems. This relief valve protect the unit from high temperature and pressure conditions which are not healthy for the human body. The system has a CSA-rated capacity of 200,000 BTU, pressure of 150 psi and temperature of 210°F. The inlet and outlet of the valve have 3/4” NPT threads and the overall length of the valve is 3-1/2”. This valve operates through the mechanisms that allow the pressure or temperature in the system to reduce to that which is safe should there be an occurrence of these conditions. Pressure regulation is automatic; when it reaches 150 PSI or the temperature is 210°F the valve opens to expel water and de-stress the system for operational safety.
