Lennox 33W52 30" Cap Thermal Expansion Valve 3/8" X 1/2" ODF 6Ton

The Lennox 33W52 is a thermal expansion valve suitable in heating and air conditioning HVAC for 6 tons capability. Sometimes referred to as a metering device a TXV controls the rate of refrigerant flow in a system. Because the TXV regulates the flow of refrigerant to the evaporator coil with a high degree of accuracy for the system. In other words the TXV works as pressure-controlled valve of the system. The high pressure is created by the warmer refrigerant leaving the evaporator coil and this pushes a small pin in the TXV. This pin controls the amount of cooler, high pressure liquid refrigerant that flows into the evaporator coil.
