It operates on integrated circuits and microprocessor logic which are fed signals by temperature sensors, pressure switches and thermostat inputs and feeds compressors, fan motors and valves when used in HVAC systems. The board is mounted in the equipment control compartment with wiring harnesses being connected to the appropriate terminals and power supply connections being used to support system control circuits. The continuous signal processing enables the controller to control cooling cycles, check the operating conditions, and coordinate the connected components.
