The Lennox 84W85 Motor Module 3.0 ECM is a microcontroller for variable speed blower motors that are in Lennox heating and cooling systems. These Electronically Commutated Motors (ECMs) are highly efficient motors. The module talks to your thermostat and commands the motor to run at the right speed to distribute air evenly through your house. It may save space by providing equal temperatures and in some cases cut down on energy usage by supplying conditioned air in correspondence with your heating/cooling requirement. The Lennox 84W85 Motor Module 3.0 ECM requires 120V household power and has a ½ horsepower to fit numerous residential HVAC applications.
