Trane SEN1561 Temperature Sensor 3% Rm 4-20 Ma

The Trane SEN1561 temperature sensor is for use in HVAC systems. An electrical signal proportional to the air temperature is produced. This sensor is based on a solid-state polymer capacitive sensing element whose capacitance is changed by temperature variation in the environment. This capacitance shift is then converted to an output of 4–20 milliamperes of DC by the sensor. This signal is readily transmissible and understandable to other generally available compatible HVAC control systems. The SEN1561 is usually installed vertically in equipment or air ducts to detect air temperature. It has a wide operating temperature range of –20°F to 140°F and is appropriate for use in many HVAC applications.
