Trane ACT0711 Spring Return Damper Actuator 24V 2-10 VDC

The Trane ACT0711 essentially is a damper actuator that is used in multiple systems of HVAC systems. It works through the receipt of electrical signals from the control board. These signals tell the actuator where to place air dampers on the system to an exact location. Air dampers are in fact control valves used in the duct system to control the airflow. Through the regulation of these dampers by closing and opening them as directed by the control board, the Trane ACT0711 actuator controls the airflow for heat, cool and vane applications.
