Trane RLY2440 Control Relay 24V 25A DPST

The Trane RLY2440 is a 24V control relay that is used within the Trane HVAC systems to operate. Despite its small size of 2.6” length, 1.8” width and 2.37” height, this component is highly essential in managing low voltage circuits. It employs a DPST switching circuit where the switch has its two poles with single throw but functions in two different circuits: the Normally Open (NO) switch. To put it in other words, the relay is an electric switch that does not require the manual operation with a lever but can be triggered by an electrical impulse – in this case, 24V. When the signal is present the relay is closed and the current flows to the connected equipment.
