Trane SWT2649 M/R SPST Rollout Switch 240°F

The Trane SWT2649 M/R SPST Rollout Switch is an anti-freeze protection part that prevents HVAC systems from getting too hot. It is a single pole single throw switch that operates on the principle of self opening when the temperature in the equipment rises to 240°F to cut off the supply of power and thereby prevent further heating. This rollout switch has a manual reset which means that the user has to push the switch back into the closed position once the system has overheated and the equipment has cooled. It is widely used in furnaces and boilers and other heating equipment in different HVAC systems.
