Nidec-Embraco 2321114-ESP Overload is a protective part applied in refrigeration and HVAC system compressor motors to avoid the destruction of electrical current and heat in excess during operation. The overload is mounted on or close to the compressor terminal and consists of a temperature-sensitive element set to the thermal features of the motor and which interrupts current flow when internal temperatures are too high to allow the compressor winding to continue until the temperature returns to normal.
