Carrier HC42GR234 Motor ECM 230V 1/3HP

The Carrier HC42GR234 is an Electronic Commutated Motor that is used in HVAC systems. ECMs are not like permanent split capacitor motors that have capacitors for varying the speed and torque of the motor. It also enables better control and less noise production while at the same time being more energy efficient. The motor is a 230V, 1/3 horsepower, and is CSA listed for safety standards of compliance. Its design also enables it to be incorporated into different HVAC equipment such as furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps. It provides higher efficiency, low noise, and improved speed control over the PSC motors.
