Honeywell TR23 Temperature Sensor W/Override 55°F - 85°F 20K Ohm

The Honeywell TR23 Temperature Sensor is a component that can be used in different HVAC systems. This sensor has override functionality, permitting manual adjustments of temperature within a defined range 55°F to 85°F. It is based on the resistance variation with temperature change. The resistance of the sensor decreases with increasing temperature. The change in resistance is interpreted by the control board of the HVAC system and causes operation of the system to be adjusted in order to maintain the desired temperature. Applications of the TR23 sensor include furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and thermostats.
