The Trane COM11191 compressor is a workhorse, designed to provide plenty of cooling in Trane HVAC systems. The scroll design of this single phase compressor is well known for its efficiency and silent operation. It is about 20 x 20 x 13.4". Made of strong cast iron for long lasting functionality. R-22 refrigerant at 208-230V and 60Hz is used by the COM11191. The refrigerant gas is heated, then compressed, forcing its pressure to increase. Then the hot, high pressure gas passes through the system and sends heat to the outside. The Trane HVAC system uses this cycle to remove heat from your home effectively, creating a cooling capacity of 32,000 BTU.
